Week of December 4th - 10th

Monday: Ford did not feel well enough to go to his Parkinson exercises (back in pain so he took pain pills over the weekend, which upset his stomach, so stopped taking them again). I went to LB's home, bagged up bedding and met the Water Authority employee; he located the shut off valve/meter at the street. I also called Xfinity/Comcast to shut off service at LB's home (saving us $390/month!). I baked a batch of bran muffins for our breakfasts.

I made bruschetta for dinner. We watched the Jaguars on Monday night football - first time in 12 years - and they lost in overtime - plus Trevor Lawrence suffered from a high ankle sprain - he can't walk right now). I stayed up so late, had tired headache all the next day.
Tuesday: Dropped Ginger off at the groomers, then Ford went to PT; I spoke on phone with Terri while walking (she is just getting over the mess with Mike's surgery and NOT going to her home for rehab - he needs to go to a rehab/PT place for a few weeks - he's not walking yet and supposedly brought alcohol into the hospital).
Neighbor Nancy gave of many lemons off her tree, she's leaving for a couple of weeks, so we are the grateful recipients of her lemon tree.
We drove to the credit Union (Jax/Self Help) and withdrew my Christmas spending money. Had lunch at Moon River Pizza, the salads are huge, filling (had a few brown lettuce, usually perfectly fresh); also two slices of pizza, which we took home most of them.
AA stayed after school for her NHS meeting. Lots of homework and studying for her. I made a turkey (leftover from Thanksgiving), rice, broccoli, onion, cheese casserole, AA put in oven for us while we were at RH Happy Hour with Hugh, Maureen and Kathy. Karrie joined us (I made deviled eggs). Maureen seemed a bit more agitated with her memory loss. Beautiful day turned cool, will be in the thirties on this Thursday morning.
AA reading her Advent Calendar daily messages:
Ginger and AA watching TV:
Wednesday: Went shopping (at a local computer store), decided to wait to buy my Mom a new iPad - maybe take it with me when I fly to Maine in February.
Wrapping Christmas gifts, got three boxes in the mail - feeling accomplished! Ordered Melissa's gift to be sent directly to her home.
Thursday: Went to Publix, had Ford's blackened salmon for dinner with baked potatoes and roasted carrots.
AA went to PT after school. She is studying late each night, many tests this week.
Friday: Ford went to PT, I met with Lisa to pick up a dozen bourbon balls. We then went to Larry's home and took pictures of the two window air conditioners and the generator (Justin will take). We did a little cleaning then back home. We received a Christmas gift of mini whoopie pies from Mom - can't wait to taste (in freezer for now).
Ford made a homemade pizza dough (which did not rise well) for dinner. AA drove me to the cemetery to see Larry's new gave marker/plaque, sent photos to the Webster family. Then delivered some lemons (from Nancy) to Kathy and Hugh/Maureen.
Saturday: I drove to Haines City to visit with Andrew before his Ironman race on Sunday. Spent the night with Mia in her camper. Separate post on that trip.
Sunday: Andrew's Ironman. Missed Dylan's Winter Spectacular.
I drove home, picked up Pig Stand BBQ at Ormond Beach exit, enjoyed dinner back with the family. Tired and happy!
