Autumn Moon Festival

We celebrated the Autumn Moon festival last weekend with our local First Coast FCC group enjoying a picnic dinner on the beach at Hanna Park. Wonderful weather and fun games for the kids. It was nice to say hi to some families we only see at the Chinese New Year celebrations. We need to attend and be more involved now that AA is more social.
Maybe she will even dance in next year's CNY party!

With the clouds, we didn't see the moon, but did for several nights leading up to this night. Fun time (and next time will know what to bring and do differently!).

Play Time

Another visit with Grand-Alivia. AA had been to the Doctor and have the pink band-aids to show for the three shots she was given.

Unfortunately, AA was sick right after this, so the visit was cut short.... she was a bit too active right after getting the shots. She recovered after a good night sleep!

Happy Birthday, Daughter!

We will be celebrating Daughter #1 birthday this weekend at her Mom's house, along with her brother's and sister Nicole's. Their birthdays are very close so are sometimes celebrated together.

With the club pool cabana closing, we met friends at the pool for an early evening dip and dinner. AA and my Mom jumped in the pool and soon AA was saying she was cold (yes, she is a true Floridian, temperatures drop at night and the pool water is cooler.....). So the rest of us did not get in and sat around and enjoyed catching up on news together.

AA hasn't worn this outfit except for play as it is/was too big for her. Yesterday, she was cheering in it all day! I think Daddy wants to see her in a Cardinal outfit next.....

Pretty in Purple

The dress is still a little too big; but so cute! I have been waiting so long to have her wear it (purchased during the "wait")! She also has the identical skirt and top outfit that is just fitting her now too. (buy cute "Fly Away" clothing here)

Forever Family Day (FFD) - Pictures

We celebrated our Forever Family Day with a meal at P.F. Chang's. It is about a 45 minute drive away so we do not go very often. It has become our special Chinese meal place.

We tried to recreate a photo similar to our first anniversary of "gotcha" day (we now call FFD), but it didn't happen.

We love the Chicken Lettuce Wraps! Thanks for Don for introducing us to them!
