She's a Winner!

We had fun during the eight games/rounds of golf. Met a wonderful new golfer named Bryn; now a good friend. During the Jacksonville U.S. Kids Spring Tour, we went to new golf courses that we would probably have never had the chance to take her to. It is fun for all of us and AA does her best (for a six year old!). There are times when we cringe and times when we need to remind her to focus too.

Big smiles!

She did a great job during each of the eight tournaments! Plenty of room for her to improve and do better during the Summer Tour! But back at home, all smiles!

Meeting up with Missouri Family - Disney Classic AAU Championship

It was great to see our Missouri family in Orlando (or was it Celebration, FL). Great-Nephew Lane (black uniform with white tee, #25) was in the AAU Basketball Disney Classic. His team, the SEMO Swarm, had advanced to a game Sunday night. We rushed to the game right after AA's Spring Golf Tour Championship ended, so Ford saw the entire game. The SEMO Swarm won, sending them to the semi-finals on Monday.

We stayed at the Disney Swan, a wonderful place, wish we were there more than the 14 hours so could have explored. Bill and Joan gave us the whirlwind tour on a boat and walking on the boardwalk.

Lane's first duty after the game was to get social!

The Coach from the Boston Celtics was there and very friendly, allowing photos and autographs!

What a great time, we didn't originally plan to go due to AA's weekend golf commitments, but when Lane's team made it into the semi-finals, it was a great opportunity for his Uncle Ford to see him in person. We had a great Memorial Day weekend!

Jacksonville Golf Spring Tour Championship May 25th

The original U. S. Kids Championship game was postponed due to the one weekend we had about 10 inches of rain over four days. On May 25th, we played Palencia; an amazing golf course and the waterfront homes are gorgeous too. Most holes had no homes around the fairways and greens, so the natural beauty and water views were beautiful. It was also a very challenging course, many hills and hazards. AA seemed to be driving up over small mountains alot!

The tree! There was a narrow band opening for the girls to drive past the fallen tree:
Lots of hills!
The above photos are when I asked Bryn to tickle AA, to get a smile on her face for photos, it turned into a hand war (with McKelvey and Bella looking on at the craziness)!
Medal and trophy presentations: AA was third place for the game and first place for the Tour Championship. Isabella scored a 38 for first place - she's an amazing golfer (and only five years old!)!

Scoring table mayhem!

Next is the Summer Tour, lessons and golf clinics!
