Last of December 2014

Christmas picture from Marsha's camera - Cara with Dylan and Mila:

Photo from Maine: three Caton sisters - Patti, Ann and Jean.
We moved into our new carriage home (our "retirement" home); had a new roof negotiated into the deal:
Parents Night Out (PNO) at Orange Park UMC - with the Johnson Family:
Official "opening" of the Cruce backyard tree house - very large, special - impressive!
My Mom visiting great-grandson Anthony; Nana Ann took her Christmas Bear all over the State during her visits; more fun than an Elf on the Shelf (because we didn't have to do anything - just get daily fun photos!).
Nephew Andrew with Britney - she's due in February!
Our new favorite wine glasses:
We received two boxes of Christmas gifts, one from my sister Terri and George (Aunt-T) and a box from sister Melissa (Aunti-M). Thank you!
Aunti-M sent AA her small hope chest from her senior high school year. Very cool and lots of special items inside:
Wine from sister Melissa and new wine glasses from Nicole and Jordan! Love them all!
Tried doing a ribbon craft, should look like a Christmas tree - Not! too hard for little kids. try something different in 2015!
AA went to put on her size 12 golf shoes and they are totally work out! No "cleats" on the sole, worn smooth. Here's her new ones - next size up!
Sleepover - Girls had fun playing with AA's Wii games.
Finally to 2015! I will get caught up, I will get caught up! (today is January 17, 2015!).

Trip to Nana Joy - Okeechobee

We drove to Okeechobee on the day after Christmas, stopping for a lunch at Cracker Barrel (the only time we go is when we are traveling, very convenient!). We arrived to warm weather, a heated swimming pool and Nana's hospitality. With a spiral cut ham and plenty of desserts, then a huge send off breakfast....we were stuffed by the time we left.

We enjoyed walking around the park, lots of Christmas lights and even golf carts decorated to the nines!
We had a good visit, now to coax her up to the NE Florida area for a spring visit!

Christmas Visit and Dinner - The Hollaway's

We had a great visit and dinner with the grown kids - Justin, Leaa, Nicole and families. AA played with Mila, I think they enjoyed being "puppy dogs"!

The children's dinner table - what faces!
Cute Avery with Aunt Cara:
Alivia:
Jordan taking more photos than we do!
Baby Avery W., we all passed her around, enjoying her smiles and baby coos:
The girls outdoors (missing was Kilee - she was still at her Mom's home):
Livi sang her original Christmas song (with Dylan and Mila joining in). What great performers!
 Our sweet AA:
AA received many gifts, from crafty stuff, sporty head bands, a new monogrammed tote bag and bottle coozie, and more! Merry Christmas!

Christmas 2014 Morning - At the Carriage Home

We had a lovely Christmas morning, especially since AA told Aunt Carolyn to be at our home by 7:15! With a breakfast casserole, coffee and lots of gifts, we enjoyed hanging out until noon. Then it was off to "Grandma Cathy's" and Werner's home for an afternoon dinner (we took corn casserole, homemade Parker House dinner rolls and a pecan pie)!
Christmas Eve was busy putting out reindeer food that Leaa had the girls make; sugar cookies - homemade - for Santa. We visited with Leaa, Jesse and girls for a little while, dropping off our gifts for them to open on Christmas morning.
The tree lights were bright in this photo - wish I knew how I did that! (new hoodies from Nana Ann)

Homemade Beer from Kenny Davis. We had a great time at the Bonna home (Ralph took the gorgeous photos of AA at her Golf Championship) on December 19th with Kenny and Pam Davis - taco chili and lots of good wine (we brought corn dip). We really enjoy our new friends.
Homemade sugar cookies:
AA made us a card about moving into the carriage house; maybe she thought Santa wouldn't find us!
Advent Calendar (from Nana Ann):
Some of our homemade's: lemon extract, peanut brittle, fudge sauce, caramel sauce, match holder and strike (ball jar):
I included a sea salt from Maine along with our homemade goodies.
The Christmas tree:
Opening gifts:
I received a UMO Ice Hockey hoodie from my sweet Hubby:
From Aunt Patti:
L.L. Bean fleece vest from Nana Ann of the North:
Aunt Carolyn playing some of AA's new Wii games (racing!):
Merry Christmas!
