Monday: I posted on Facebook about our "food". Ford took garlic over to Coach Bryan - he loves garlic.
"Food has been a theme this past week: From about 50 lemons from our neighbor's lemon tree, to Bourbon balls (candy) from a home baker in Eagle Harbor, lots of home-grown garlic from my Maine sister's garden to a box of Maine Whoopie mini-pies from my Mom. Plus, Ford made a no-bake cheesecake while I was gone over the weekend! Let the holiday indulgences begin! All YUM! Thank you!"
I made chicken piccata while AA drove Ford to her dentist appointment.
Tuesday: We went to my social security appointment just to be told the same thing, I need to pay for Medicare Parts A and B; will need to find a separate policy for AA since my JEA retiree medical insurance doesn't have a family plan.
River House Happy Hour, I brought the cherry tomato, cheese, basil appetizer, Karrie joined us as is becoming a regular event.
I made a meatloaf, mashed potatoes and roasted carrots for dinner (AA coordinated the baking of all while we were at the RH).

Wednesday: Ford went to his PT, then to Lawyer to sign our new wills. We are happy to have updated wills!
AA took her driver's license test and PASSED! Now to apply for a student parking pass. She actually had signed up for only a new drivers license not a road test, but thankfully there was an opening. Also, the Subaru has terrible transmission, jerky shifting especially when cold and they marked her off two points for that saying they thought her foot wasn't securely on the gas pedal causing the jerking. She did answer one question wrong so only a few points off (allowed up to 30). Happy she passed, she is a good driver.

It was the River House members party, but we did not go.
Thursday: Ford went to his back pain doctor. I shopped at Kohl's, Fresh Market (picked up spiral cut ham), went to Larry's home, then Walmart for Ford's new prescription, muscle relaxer, put gas in "Alyzabeth's" car, at $2.78!!

AA had to skip PT, as she had a makeup/retake math test. We cooked homemade spaghetti sauce in slow cooker; dinner with garlic bread knots (from Fresh Market). Weather still cold and dreary with storm coming in this Saturday/Sunday.
Friday: Ford had his PT early at 7:45. Went through Christmas list for Florida family. Still need to shop! Weather still windy with dampness, some light showers - just feels so COLD! Picked up AA from school, we went to JoAnn's to find unique Christmas ornaments for gifts she can give the "girls". Leftover spaghetti for dinner!
Saturday: Stormy weather, with showers/rain. AA drove us to the RAM market, we bought a few last gifts on our list, buying local. Then to Moon River for our favorite lunch - salad and a slice of pizza (and AA's calzone). Ford is still not walking due to back/hip pain, so he didn't roam the market with us.

We went home so AA could continue her take at home History mid-term test, plus study for her in classroom test - five other subjects. We went to the RH for happy hour, took food pantry canned donations, weather getting a little worse with storm getting closer; we left before a party was starting, so avoided the crowd. I made a usual appetizer: prosciutto ham on toothpick with cantaloupe, mozzarella cheese and a light drizzle of honey. AA ate the leftovers, so we ended up not heating up leftover chili for dinner. NFL football games are back on Saturday's so lots to watch. Mom sent us a L.L. Bean centerpiece, looks nice!
Sunday: Woke way too early to rain. I baked 50 mini-loaves of pumpkin bread, made bean soup for dinner, took AA to Target for shopping (school supplies for her math teacher) and wrapping gifts, plus church!
Jaguar Sunday Night football game was a big Loss!
