I drove to Haines City Saturday to be with Andrew, Britney, Chloe, plus Grandparents (Britney's) Linda and Bill. Great weather, warm close to 80 degrees. Chloe enjoys the pool, the rental was nice with four bedrooms. I picked up Subway subs for the group and visited until about 3:00 p.m. Andrew has had a sore back, hoping to be able to finish the race tomorrow. Saturday:
Left to spend the night with Mia and deaf dog Gio. We had a nice Italian dinner at Giovanni's, then talked until I was very sleepy - early morning to see Andrew race!
From Facebook: Last post to catch up on this past weekend: While visiting nephew Andrew and family (Ironman 70.3 competitor, Haines City), I visited with (overnight) my sister-in-law Mia. Fun times, good Italian dinner out and my gosh - I am not a dog person BUT Gio was in love! I couldn't help loving this dog back - he was so sweet (and deaf) and just seemed to want my company. I deprived Mia of her nighttime bed partner. Hope Ginger wasn't too jealous but will need to meet up with Gio again soon!
