Monday: Got an early text from Carolyn, all going well at her hospital check in. I arrived at her home about 8:30 a.m., Alex was there, so we chatted and passed the time talking about his new property, work plans and Carolyn! I bought Chicken Salad Chick sandwiches, and finally got the text at 2:30 that she was being discharged. We went to Publix and picked up her prescription (and OJ and Lottery tickets!), then home for her to rest. All seems well so far with her heart/cardiac ablation (right thigh groin area incision) , hopefully her AFib goes back to normal. I left and took the truck to the Honda dealer for the first service since we bought it four months ago, took a long time and then waited for the "free" car wash. Glad I got it done! Back home, ate a chicken salad sandwich (from Fresh Market, almost same that I had for lunch!); AA had her Spanish lesson with Laureen. Tired and ready for bed by 9:00 p.m.

Monday Week of July 10th!
Tuesday: AA had her PT with Catherine, as Lisa in on a two week vacation. We walked over to Eagle Harbor Golf course as the NFJG Tournament was there (briefly saw Chloe), we chatted with Jack, Jody, Hannah and Charles, plus Mark and Mike (?). Good seeing them. I took this selfie on walk home.
We also visited with neighbor Nancy Coats (3 pm - 4 pm), she gave us a small bouquet of flowers from David's Memorial service, she and family are leaving on Thursday for New York for final memorial service and internment ("Urn-terment"). She is doing well, still a bit in shock about how quickly David failed and then died. We will hopefully get her to the River House occasionally (she likes to drink just about everything, but not much due to one kidney).
Ford had his annual ECHO and will get the results next week.
River House Happy Hour was good, I took stuffed celery, a new recipe, includes cream cheese, mayo, Hidden Valley Dry Ranch mix and shredded mozzarella cheese, very good.
It has been humid and HOT, so we visit inside the RH. Dinner was Bruschetta, Ford's stomach has been tender for about a week now, thought it was getting better.
Wednesday (12th): AA had her follow up appointment with Dr. Sacksteder - her last with him as he is moving to Utah. Her new Doctor is Dr. Snyder at Baptist South JOI. AA doesn't quite have full ROM, lots more PT in her future. We did some grocery shopping, dinner will be light, soup and salad kit.
Ford and I made a batch of Sloppy Joe for a future dinner, trying to get back to meal planning (we leave for Boston in 10 days, so back to restaurants when on the road).
Thursday: We met Leaa and family plus Pearl to shop at the St. Augustine Outlet - partially for "back to school" clothes and sneakers. Must success, with Ford even buying one shirt. We enjoyed lunch with all at Jin Sushi Hibachi Thai (next to Sonny's/Wendy's in strip-shopping stores), our first time there. Food was very good and plentiful - the Hibachi Lunch meals were great.
We also bought a used washer machine for Justin, got it from Kate Pearce (moved from EH to GCS). We met JK in GCS, drove to Branscom Road, pouring rain, thunder and lightning when we arrived. Justin unhooked it, used a hand truck/dolly to get it to his van, then we lifted into his van - got soaking wet! We jumped in our truck to try and visit, we had brought three "Cardinal" red t-shirts of his Uncle Ben, plus one we bought for him at a Bass Pro Shop, so he quickly put on a dry t-shirt. What a day - with Kate giving us the washer for free, we paid the $50 to Justin, he was surprised, plus I had brought some of our homemade sloppy joe for his dinner. He really made out this trip!
Friday: I visited with Carolyn until about noon (hid the money we gave for sitting Ginger, which she tries to refuse, but we insist, would cost us more than double that amount) while Ford and AA did the grocery shopping to get ready for the sleep over. We went to the RH as we would not be going for our usual happy hour on Saturday, rain on and off, and a bit noisier as band was setting up (Hugh brought his favorite smoked fish dip - Mrs. Peters). We ate leftovers for dinner.
Saturday: We did cleaning chores and prepared food (deboning a rotisserie chicken, pasta salad, washing grapes, etc. Chloe and Kathryn arrived for the sleep over at 4:30. Kathryn gave us a bouquet of flowers, nice! The girls got settled, then Star Wars movie #1 was on the TV, then two Spider Man movies and watched Hamilton in the morning. Ginger joined them and we could here occasional laughter and shouts. We made panini sandwiches with AA's pasta salad and chips; they made ice cream sundaes later in the evening.
Sunday: Ford and I were up by 4:30 a.m.; AA woke up also when the sprinkler system went off at 5:00 a.m. Everyone was up eating breakfast (yogurt, fruit, OJ, bagels and cream cheese and sausage balls). They were very neat, easy, perfect guests. After they left, AA and I walked Black Creek Trail for 1.4 miles (very hot, sweaty!). No lunch, so dinner was panini sandwiches again with leftover pasta salad. We were dragging a bit, Ford wanted one beer at Talon's, and lots of TV watching.
