Thursday: The final leg of our driving trip was a thunder/lightning storm entering Jacksonville - cleared up enough to pick up Ginger and drive home without incident.
Friday: Sent Mr. Chris Harris some school supplies from his Amazon Wish List. Ford ordered a Cuisinart Panni Grill just like Cliffeda's - we love the sandwiches she made with them! I worked Friday morning, AA at her PT appointment, I went grocery shopping.
Spoke to Carolyn about her surgery this Monday, Alex will take her to the hospital, I will do some visiting duties on Monday and will take some food. Hopefully will find something useful to do at her home.
We used our new Cuisinart panni sandwich maker, Ford made a "Cuban"; AA and I used cooked turkey with pesto - not as thick as Cliffreda's but were yummy!
Saturday, July 8th: I worked for an hour, feeling caught up now after having irregular work hours for past two weeks.
Made Shrimp Pasta salad (recipe from Cliffreda).
I did not finish the puzzle that AA gave me for Christmas - Terri did most of it during her visit - I gave up!
Sunday: Another slow day, laundry, walking Ginger, shopped at Fresh Market, read our new books AND the A/C stopped working! David Gray HVAC came within a few hours and had our home cool within an hour. We made panni sandwiches again for lunch and ate leftover shrimp pasta salad for dinner. Another heavy, quick moving thunderstorm raced through mid-afternoon. Mom's photo of rain at LSL:
