Monday: Another beautiful day! Took the Metro to the Washington DC Zoo (on the tallest/longest escalator ever seen!), we walked and saw the pandas, red panda (looks like a racoon) plus lions, tigers, zebras, seals, otters, etc. The zoo did not have a "lush garden" look like the Jacksonville Zoo. Terri and I were "twinning"!

Then we went to Chinatown by Metro and walked around. As it was mid-afternoon, we decided not to find a restaurant. We didn't do enough research so didn't have a destination in mind. We stood by the entrance gates, walked a block and jumped back on the metro back to our hotel.

We decided to try the restaurant Teaism. The food was different, the Bento box cold, my bowl was not to my not-so-adventurous tastes.
