We left Maine behind and are now on our adventure in Washington DC with Terri! Thursday (06/02/22) we landed very late due to thunderstorms/lightning in the area.
After arriving at the J.W. Marriott, we decided to order room service for dinner. The food was good (club sandwich, flatbread).
After settling in, we managed to sleep through the night (well, Terri wakes up alot, I was getting jostled by AA).
Friday, AA jumped on line to get tickets at the Holocaust, then the African-American museum after being unsuccessful getting Holocaust tickets (both free) - see Friday's separate post for African-American Museum - amazing!
Saturday, was another day of museums, we were able to get Holocausts tickets via AA, and our evening tour was moved to Sunday.
Sunday morning, took the metro to the Arlington National Cemetery.
