Week of March 28th - Soon to be April 1st!

Monday: I worked as usual in the morning, Ford went to his PD exercise class. We went to the Fleming Island Golf course "Pub" for lunch as Talon's is closed on Mondays. It was good, just took longer than we would like for lunchtime. Clear cool day, we sat outside, but a breeze made it a bit chilly. AA had her golf lesson with Coach Bryan and Kalia. Leftover chicken divan casserole for dinner, yum! A keeper recipe.
Tuesday: Same old, same old day! Cool morning and warmer in the afternoon. I made ginger-lemon sconces, not bad! The candied ginger gat is more flavor.
River House happy hour with Kathy. AA golfed and worked on homework. By evening, I had a scratchy sore throat!
Wednesday: I have a sore throat, runny nose, cough, a full blown cold! Stayed in bed most of day while working, got in my work hours in between naps! Ford drove AA to the NFJG Team Match playoff at PVB with Kalia (separate post).
Thursday: Ford went to his PD exercises, while I worked and stayed in bed. I picked up my new little ring (for my birthday) from Kingsley Jewelry.
We made chili in the slow cooker for dinner. AA's room darkening curtains for her bedroom.
Used Nana Joy's cornbread recipe, cooked in our cast iron skillet:
Friday: I worked, still nursing my cold. We went to MoJo's for lunch. Beautiful day, I took Ginger for a walk, first time in past three days.
Ginger enjoying the sunshine:
We didn't cook so V's Pizza was dinner: pizza and caprese salad.
Saturday: We drove to the West Beaver Street Farmer's Market to buy raw peanuts. By the time we got home (noon), the bad lightning storm began, raining all afternoon. We watched the last round of the Augusta National Women's Amateur, watched Pano (T12) , Avery (T4) and Zweig (AA's age - T25) compete. They all made the final cut of 30 players, so that is a huge accomplishment.

Sunday: NFJG Tournament at Bent Creek (separate post). Algebra tutor every Sunday evening with Laurie. I did the usual house chores at home, walked Ginger three times and made a Boston Butt pork roast for dinner of pork tacos. Wine on the porch with my Hubby who walked over 15,000 steps today!
