April is Beautiful! Clay County Fair!

We began Monday morning with AA off to school without Ian, his Mom put an update on Facebook:
I did my usual morning work while Ford went to his PD exercise class and did some minor grocery shopping. Sunny day, starting cool and topping out at 79 degrees! After school, AA started a batch of boiled peanuts, had a golf lesson with Bryan then to the PGA Jr. Team meeting. We ate dinner during the meetings (Irish Salad and Fish Sandwich, without the bread) at Fleming Island Golf Course Irish Pub. Beautiful day to sit outside on the patio.
Coach Bryan's first day working at FIGC. We gave him a gift card to Santioni's Italian restaurant.
Coach Bryan Kipnis meeting with PHA Jr. parents and kids, the 17 and under team, plus three PGA Jr. team (two boys, one girls). AA and Kalia volunteer coaches.
Tuesday: River House. Pork tacos for dinner (2nd time - the pork roast makes enough for us to have at least 4 - 5 dinners, so I froze it for later). AA wrote a sonnet for a homework assignment:
Wednesday: We ran a few errands, buying Easter candy and dropping off our recyclables. AA came home from school upset and feeling sick. After a good rest and a Tylenol, she is much better!
Ford made new "smash" burgers for dinner, once you get the "fixing's" ready, the burgers take about 3 minutes to cook.
With lettuce and tomato and homemade pickle "special sauce":
Thursday: Ford's PD exercise class. After school, AA, Ford and I did some putting but the wind/storm blowing through stopped us early, and lightning got too close.
AA worked on school work, many assignments are due Monday. Bruschetta was (our favorite meatless meal) dinner.
Found this on social media - Clay Sports First team Ceremony is May 11th:
Friday: Day off from school. Clay Fair day with Noah and AA. We briefly met with Siyan and family (Nasha Donaldson) to give them two extra arm band vouchers we had purchased thinking we would go to the fair twice.
AA and Noah went on one scary ride plus the regular ones they have done in the past. We walked through the old Florida section (blacksmithing, broom making, bee hives, gardens, etc.), enjoyed the free collard greens and corn bread, lots of live bluegrass music (outside and in the church). The Fair had many more picnic tables and shelter areas plus some new "acts" like glass blowing, RV "Ember" set-ups, a parrot "petting" caged area, etc. Windy!! and cool (barely reached 70 degrees), but sunny. We had lunch at Sweet Sensations as Noah does not want to eat fair food (said he got sick on it in the past).
In line to get arm bands, very fast!
AA and Noah joined us in the Old Florida section:
Ford listening to the young men's group in the church:
After the fair and taking Noah home (new lake front house on 3663 Doctor's Lake Drive), AA went to the FIGC Academy with Coach Bryan (who was at the Master's yesterday and followed Tiger Woods) for 1.5 hour practice/instruction.
For dinner, we bought the nacho appetizer (to-go) from the Pub, reheated them with home toppings, pretty good!
Saturday: Another cool and WINDY day! AA had a history pre-FSA test (22 written paragraphs). Leaa called from Orlando, waiting while Dylan's dance team performed.
Ford and I went to the River House (High is still recovering from broken hip and Kathy had another COVID booster shot and was feeling a little "under the weather"). We relaxed, watched the Masters, made a batch of homemade meatballs and sauce.
Sunday: Palm Sunday. AA went to FIGC for a two hour practice, I delivered a spaghetti and meatball dinner (with garlic bread, salad) for the Bailey's dinner. Ford made his fried fish dinner, hush puppies, cole slaw with Larry Bradley. The evening was capped off with American Idol and another episode of Sanditon on TV.
