Week of November 8th! Nana Joy and More!

Monday: Shopped with Joy at the St. Augustine outlet mall. Bought two tops at Chico's, my new favorite store.
Tuesday: I worked at SJRCT. Donna cleaned house while Ford and Joy ran errands and shopped.
Wednesday: I worked until 1:30 p.m. at SJRCT. AA volunteered at Kids Golf group lesson. Drinks on Talon's patio, ate dinner on patio, an infrequent treat.

Thursday: Veteran's Day. Walked the Palatka Ravines State Park with AA and her Nana Joy (built in 1934). Ford made homemade meatballs and spaghetti sauce.

Friday: Happy Birthday to Ford! Made pumpkin bread. Worked several hours. Walked Ginger through Lick Skillet with Joy.
Ford's doctor appointment with neurologist. Celebrated (very "chill") Ford's birthday at Mellow Mushroom with Jesse playing (very crowded!). Waited for three tables, well worth it, just a huge crowd; when we said this would be a great way, low key, to celebrate Ford's birthday, was thinking of the St. Augustine Mellow Mushroom on Sundays, this was not like that at all!

Saturday: Celebrated Ford's birthday with cards, presents and a store bought red velvet cake. AA bought her Dad something he asked for - an electric toothbrush! Way too practical, but that's what he wanted. I gave him gloves with lights (idea from Werner), a hat with the neck shield, a wireless phone charger (we actually bought when we got new phones in September), L.L. Bean shoes and a phone photo storage stick. Cathy and Werner gave him a bottle of very lovely cognac, excellent! Found out that Leaa' sent the 1951 wine glass. Very cool gift. Mom sent him a gift card to Amazon - a favorite gift!

Sunday: Golf Lesson

Ford grilled hotdogs after we went to Dick's to shop for some golf items, I made apple crisp. Watched the Jaguars lose!

Quiet night. Joy leaves in the morning.
