November Days

With the early darkness, we still feel like 6:00 p.m. feels like 9:00 p.m.!
Monday: Nana Joy left and arrived safely back in Okeechobee. I worked on and off, Ford got the truck tire fixed (flat from a nail). AA went to her golf lesson and we went to Happy Hour at the RH.
I bought multi-colored Christmas lights for the deck railing instead of the icicle lights I used in the past years.
Tuesday: I did not go into work at SJRCT, between not sleeping and waking up with a cold, just could not get moving (I took my temperature, was normal, and took the Abbott COVID at-home test, which was negative). Ginger had her groomers appointment, best hair cut yet.
Wednesday: I feel better, so ran errands and got back to walking the dog. Ford made three batches of peanut brittle. For some reason, his first batch always burns! So next time, will preheat the bowl for the first batch to see if that is the variable causing the first batch to burn. AA aced her calculus quiz! So glad we have Ms. Laurie as her algebra tutor! AA volunteered at EH Kids Golf lesson and we enjoyed a drink on Talon's patio. Beautiful day, actually, hot directly in the sun. Spoke to Penny, she was putting, practicing for an upcoming senior event. I made our favorite pork tacos for dinner, always a yummy dinner.
Thursday: AA was named to the Clay County All Golf Team, First Team.
AA dentist, her braces are off! Popcorn was popped and enjoyed!!
Home!
Friday: Worked several hours, made another batch of mini-pumpkin bread, plus hair coloring day! AA is officially on Thanksgiving school vacation!
Saturday: We went to the River House. I got my Flu shot and AA golfed with Ryan (separate post) then did some homework.
Sunday: AA has a NFJG Tournament at Eagle Harbor (separate post).
