The small gathering at the River House all went well. Most brought donations of dog food. Connor, Owen, Ian and Hadi hung out with AA from 1:00 - 3:00 (watching videos on their phones, talking about school, etc.). Of course, AA, Ford and Joy were late due to Ford's "misinterpretation" of the correct time to arrive! Jana Kinder and Edilyn Williams stayed the entire time, enjoyed seeing them. I was busy most of the time as I set up the tables, set up the Sonny's food, served the food and then served banana pudding, plus clean up. 
Very few friends and family were invited, as we wanted to keep small, just a drop in visit, outside on the beautiful St. Johns River. Due to conflicts with the Cruce family moving, dance practices and soccer games, Cathy, Werner, Leaa, Jesse and Justin attended. The weather was quite warm, then a strong breeze came before the light rain (looked worse than what actually happened), but over all, turned out fine.
We made mango salsa and banana pudding and had Sonny's BBQ delivered (chicken, pork, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw and BBQ beans). All was good, and plenty of food (I ordered for 25 "just in case").
