September 7th - And More

Tuesday, Justin's birthday is today and he is working. Ford hopes to meet with him sometime this week. Unfortunately, JK has been feeling a bit under the weather so no visit yet.
Tuesday, I worked at the APTIM office (and had a delicious Newk's chicken salad - salad for lunch!). AA had the Academic Club meeting (every Tuesday-Thursday) and a FIHS Golf match at FI Golf course (I actually attended the last few holes). Good score of 35.
Photo of Jenna and AA walking back after end of match (Jenna was eating so couldn't smile!):
Hole 16 (played back nine, started on Hole 18; ended on Hole 17):
Wednesday: Ford and I ran errands, then take-out lunch from Sweet Sensations. AA had golf team practice then an easy dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. AA has much homework, Spanish words and recordings, biology terms and lessons, world history index cards and reading, Algebra homework nightly with weekly quiz, plus golf practice daily and two matches each week. Tired by Friday!
Thursday: I worked at APTIM office. AA had a golf team match at Eagle Landing/Oakleaf. Fleming Island Girls Golf team won with AA scoring a 33! Exciting to see this team win four in a row.
Scores (match was with St. Johns Country Day School, only sent one player):
Thursday, I made dinner, a recipe Ford selected. We all liked it, used udon noodles, it is "meatless".

Friday: I didn't work much at home, I made egg salad and deviled eggs plus Katie's Corn dip. AA found out she did not win a seat on the Freshman Student Council, maybe try next year.
But she did make a 110 score on her algebra quiz! Yeah!
Mom sent me the news about B&M Factory in Portland closing. We bought a few cans, even though they will still be made, just not in Portland.
And the Bailey's are attending the funeral of their friend Talen Birt, (cancer), still in middle school.
Larry Bradley came over for a celebration of his first cancer treatment concluding. He does have another round of chemo but will only be two days a week. He brought Bono's BBQ (chicken and pork) plus three sides. All good food and we had Whoopie Pies from Mom (thank you) for dessert.
Texting the family group, Dylan had a special performance learning about 9/11 and Liv was awarded the lead role in Anne Frank:
Saturday: A day of remembrance: 9/11.
We tried to sleep in, AA  played/practiced golf from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. I went shopping at Target and then a late lunch of leftovers at home. We took deviled eggs and corn dip to the River House for happy hour.
Sunday: AA had a golf lesson with Coach Bryan, then off to the movies for the first time since January 2020! She invited some friends, so we picked up Ian and Connor and Owen came too. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (3D), directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with Simu Liu, Tony Chiu-Wai Leung, Awkwafina, Ben Kingsley.
Kids wore masks (only four other guests were in the theater) except when eating:
Ford made homemade pizza for dinner. Always yummy.
AA had her algebra tutoring session with Laurie at 7:00 p.m. And that was our week!
