Monday arrived with another nice day, still hot but a breeze now makes it bearable (your sweat dries faster!). AA went to school, regular Monday for us, except taking Ginger to her annual vet appointment. Next week she gets her teeth cleaned for the first time! AA has golf team practice after school and then we headed to the River House for Happy Hour. Ford and I took our recyclables to the temporary collection center at the library, hopefully the county's contractor will restart collection rounds again soon (shortage of personnel). We did laundry, stripped and made up the beds, I made orange chicken in the crock-pot (cutting and browning chicken, chopping garlic, ginger; mixing the sauce and dumping it in the slow cooker); rice and leftover snow peapods will complete the meal.
Tuesday: I worked at the APTIM office, nice and quiet; went to the SJRCT to meet with Robert and Chris about the SPCC. I also got a Trio Salad to go from a local cafe inside an antique shop - never knew it was there!

Ford watched the FIHS Girls Golf Team play at Palatka - they won! I got Talon's Taco Tuesday take-out rather than making dinner (had planned an easy tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, but changed our minds). A glass of wine while waiting for our taco order.
Wednesday: Quiet day, did a few hours work at home, ordered the balloons for Saturday. I made the "Martha Stewart" one-pot spaghetti for dinner.
AA had her usual golf team practice and lots of homework. While walking Ginger we occasionally see snakes, this one didn't move when we walked by it, pretty green coloring:
Preparing for AA's birthday:
Thursday: AA's 13th Forever Family Day with us! (Actually the 14th as her "gottcha day" is the first Forever Family Day). Nana Joy drove up for the weekend celebrations. We went to P.F. Chang (did not go last year) and ate inside, we went early so not crowded and wore masks.

Fortune Cookies:
Arrived at the restaurant (drove separately, I came from APTIM office):
AA downloaded her birthday gift of a PC video game called Wildermyth.
Friday: All preparations for AA's low-key birthday celebration at the River House on Saturday (not a "party"). A few friends and family are coming. Had BBQ delivered and made mango salsa for something fresh and Ford made his famous banana pudding for the dessert. Separate post on Saturday's "party". We ate at Talon's patio (very noisy). I had my usual power salad, was very good (AA had salad, Joy the Soup du Jour and Ford ate a burger).
Saturday: AA's gathering at the River House and she received 188 pounds in donated dog food.
Sunday: I made biscuits for breakfast and guacamole with avocados that Joy brought for later (friend has a tree she said that is loaded!), we were pretty busy and lazy, watching the Jaguar game, taking Ginger on walks, airing up the tires in our bikes, lugging all the dog food inside (and starting the list), doing dishes and laundry. Eating Sonny's leftovers from yesterday!
