Monday, Ford made two more batches of peanut brittle and I made one more cherry pistachio biscotti batch. We ran a few errands (Post Office, Starbuck's coffee treat and Kohl's), then Ford took AA to her golf lesson at 4:00 p.m. We drove to Green Cove Springs to see Spring Park all lit up with the rows of Christmas trees and saw the new storybook reading display.
Spring park - the spring:Story walk for kids, new display to read the book at each station.
We had delicious bruschetta for dinner. A quiet evening!
Tuesday (freezing in the morning!) and Wednesday, I worked. I did not sleep over at Carolyn's as one employee at her library tested positive for COVID. Even though Carolyn was not tagged as a "contact", I'll wait a while before we visit again. We received our new larger microwave oven (our old one was not powerful enough to "cook" the peanut brittle). Ford made three batches but one burnt!
Thursday - I am off work! What a lazy day! Ford and I ran some errands, I wrapped gifts, drank hot tea (cold inside) then hung out on Talon's patio while AA had a golf lesson. We called Grand Dylan to wish her a Happy Birthday #11!
From Facebook: Enjoying my part-time work schedule, the day finally warmed up to 60 degrees, AA just received her interim school report (all A’s), she’s playing golf right now and my sweet hubby and I are enjoying the view from Talon’s outside patio. Life is good.
AA in the morning:
Biden/Harris Time Person of the Year!
Friday, we mailed three boxes at the Post Office (always a long line), took our showers, boxed up Leaa/Jesse's BIG gift and grocery shopped. Cold inside the house, but outside should reach 70 degrees today. AA finished her second CVA class, so now have the four OCO classes that don't end until after Christmas break. AA hit the private driving range at EH:
