Florida is SOAKED! And Forever Family Day!

Monday started with me off to work and Ginger to the groomers:

And the beginning of AA's birthday week!

We have had so much rain, the ditches are never dry. From last Friday, we gained over 3 inches, so I went to work on Monday to do the landfill inspections. Then it rained another inch through Wednesday. Even Coach Stephanie posted "For the Love of God, please stop raining!". The golf course is swamped. After work, I stopped and bought dog food, went to the library to swap out audio books and made it home by 3:00 p.m. I cut my right index finger (stupid, by reaching between the car seats and took a good chunk out!), safety message is always don't put your hand where you can't see what you are doing and I violated that! So it is hard to grip my golf club, so I missed my last #12 golf lesson (which they were not going to play, then did even though the course was so wet).

AA's OCO and CVA classes are going okay, but she is pretty "blah" about it, needs to be around some friends. Not sure how we will do that! This Friday, the Robotic Team Leads are meeting for an hour before school, masks required of course. We decided to let her attend (she's the code team leader).
Tuesday, we did the monthly walk for childhood cancer awareness - for the Bailey family and Fourth and Gold.

Wednesday, I had eye lid minor surgery. Painful and stressful. Having a numb eye lid, swollen and drooping. But I survived!!

And it is our 12th Forever Family Day with Alyzabeth! Ford went to P.F. Chang and picked up our food and was very creative, he put the food by the horse, so we sort of had our "traditional" photo only without us and no Carolyn. Tough on a work night to get together.

Lettuce wraps:

Then it was off to Maggie D's Ice Cream Shop to support the Eagle Harbor PGA Jr. Golf Team. May I say, just an excuse to get ice cream! Certainly for a good cause!
