I signed up for a Ladies Friday class (this is the only Friday I can make), while AA had a lesson with Coach Bryan. Ford sneaked over and took a few photos. I now know everything what not to do when I chip! I made a few good shots but not many! Shirley (in her 80's) and Holly (OPUMC) were in the class, both very good golfers. Shirley was an amateur winner years ago and Holly is very athletic and knows what she is doing! Stephanie is a good teacher, very patient and encourages me. I will need about 50 more years to master this sport!
Stephanie reminding me of the 20+ rules just to set up for a chip shot! :)One of my few good chips:
It's 4th of July weekend and most fireworks are cancelled. We aren't going any where, so thankful we moved here last year, just a few steps to the golf course.
We made deviled eggs and pasta salad, plus have brownies to take to Carolyn's tomorrow. Ford made a chicken pot pie which was our "big" meal for the day.
Then Ford and I had a drink on Talon's patio as a thunderstorm moved all around us and dropped the outside temperature to "bearable"!
And to add my political statement of the day:
