AA played in the NFJG Golf Club at Fleming Island 5658 yards, with the Elite Girls and WON! She was the youngest in the rising and elite girls and had a good game. Her first win in the elite division! A few misses but overall beat the competition of the day. AA said she felt good by the second hole, a long distance and made the Par 4. Also, a birdie on Hole 7, I asked her if she felt even better after that and she said, no, had her two worst holes right after that birdie! The back nine was good with another birdie. She did bogey three of the four Par 3's so that was unusual. Mr. Kevin Glynn making the awards:
Winner! Nice that she shot in the 70's (78) - Good!! In quiet reflection after the match, driving home, AA said she was proud of this win, also said she doesn't smile during the match as she said they are competitors. So Ford told her that was fine, and said about smiling, relaxing and being friendly after the game (his analogy was about football games, how they are literally beating up on the other team during the game, and then afterwards, pour onto the field to meet old friends, hugs and lots of friendly chatter).

Scores:
From Director Jack's Newsletter (not written by him this time): Alyzabeth Morgan shot a steady 78 to edge the hard charging Beatrice Dietz, who turned in 44, to win the Elite Girls. Dietz shot 36 on the back, but Morgan countered with a 37 of her own on the home half to win by two. Hannah Stevens led all girls with 3 birdies, but lost in a card match to finish third.
