Monday - Friday 12/06/19

Monday, AA was back to school, we shopped at Walmart and target (temperature barely 60 and windy after a balmy 84 on Sunday!). I boxed up birthday gifts for Autumn, Dylan and a box for Mila and Avery. I was behind with gifts and we seem to be over scheduled on the weekends and haven't done much visiting. I also made up AA's Advent calendar with Bible verses and treats, plus we are reading the Book of Luke during December.

AA and Ford went to Boost while I did the final boxing so Ford can mail tomorrow. We met up for dinner at Tijuana Flats as AA is not to eat hard chips after she gets braces. For two years, no hard or chewy candy, no popcorn, no hard chips and now she must cut up her food into small bites, can't use her front teeth for biting. Only for two years.
Tuesday, we woke to very cold temperatures! Ginger goes to a new groomer as Christina moved on to a new job in Oakleaf. AA has an algebra and Spanish test.... every week and she aced both of them!
We also decided to go to the movies on Tuesday to see It's a Wonderful Neighborhood (Mr. Rogers) as it is her last night to eat popcorn before she gets braces on Wednesday.
Wednesday we ate dinner at Talon's with Hugh, Maureen, Kathy and Penny and AA tried to eat with her new braces and pallet expander. Her teeth are very sore but no rubs on the inside of her mouth so far.
Thursday, I took AA to Boost as Ford made the trip to Palatka High School to see Kilee perform in Frozen Jr.
Friday, Ford and AA drove to Gainesville for her Saturday UF workshop. I stayed home on Saturday and completed many household chores; reorganizing the laundry room, the food pantry, and made chili in the crock pot after grocery shopping, plus walking the dog, doing dishes etc. So many chores that need to get done! I did find Aunt Elsie's cookbooks, hand written recipes, so took these photos and sent to Terri as she makes the Under the Sea Salad every year for Thanksgiving.
Baked my Mom's macaroni and cheese recipe (Betty Crocker 1950's), always good and thought the soft noodles with cheese would be good for AA. She has trouble chewing and talking because of the expander in the roof of her mouth.

I also bagged Ford's homemade peanut brittle in 1/2 pound gift bags:
Busy weekend!!
