Hubby makes the best peanut brittle every year. We send a gift bag of it in our gift boxes to out of State family. It is so yummy, melts in your mouth, not sticky or chewy. Just delicious!
Hoping your Christmas traditions are coming along, especially those with new babies/children this year. Last year, we copied the tradition of having new PJ's for Christmas Eve. We will continue that one! What are your special Christmas traditions?

Alyson,
I would love to have this recipe if you don't mind sharing! My father loves peanut brittle and this sounds delicious!
I love the pajama idea too. i love Pj's and Lexi must have at least a dozen pairs but there's always room for one more!

My favorite! Yes, post your recipe!
I remember making this in my High School chemistry class. All the ingredients were listed in the recipe by their chemical composition names and the utensils had weird references too. We had to decipher the names and match them up to the ingredients we had. The only ones I can remember are "protein pellets" (peanuts) and heat source (bunson burner).
It tasted yummy no matter how strange the names!
Well...that just looks and sounds delicious. I'll be checking back fro a recipe although I would understand if you want to keep it a family secret.
I make a whole mess of things every year and have for forever. Rumcake and truffles and hot and sweet nuts and on and on. One thing I've been doing for a very long time is sipping Bailey's Irish Cream (yum) and trimming the tree while listening to Sandi Patty and Nat King Cole sing Christmas songs. Wouldn't be Christmas without that.
