Last weekend we iced the cookies. AA finds such pleasure cooking and helping. Her favorite phrase right now is not the "I do it!"; it is now "I'll do it myself!". Her language is developing very well.
Stirring the food coloring into the icing:
Very tempting to taste the icing, but with only confectioners sugar, liquid pasteurized egg whites and corn starch, not very tasty!! (do you have a better icing recipe that dries hard?).
Yes, I can do it myself!

AA's gift to family, all ready!
Including her signature... her initial "A"; she writes on all her cards.
Also, we note that today was our 15 month forever family anniversary with AA. We just love our family. The three kids I always wanted. All so perfect! Loving life!
