Monday: Drove to Ford's radiation treatment, then to the VyStar Bank to order Alyzabeth's checking account checks. AA and I then drove to the FIHS to get Social Security papers signed so she may continue to receive a benefit until May 2025 - all signed - now to wait for her checks to arrive.
We drove to the IKEA store, met with Mia, Leaa and Liv. We had Swedish meatballs in the cafeteria, then shopped. I bought a new bathmat, Ziplock bags, a throw that Ford liked and two tongs.
Back home, enjoyed a quiet evening, rested, walked Ginger, had a nice rainstorm, made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner; watched the latest new episode of Maine Cabin Masters in Italy.
Tuesday: Ford's next to last radiation treatment. Ford picked up 36 bundtini's for the Radiation department - tomorrow's last treatment.
Terri found out what was making her sick - a tick bite. Now on new meds, hopefully will be better in a few days.
Alyzabeth and I drove to Deland for the Stetson College tour - Separate post. Arrived back in time for Ford and I went to the River House (Kathy there with Capri condo going away gathering), then dinner of Chipotle and Five Guy Burger for Ford. Way too full going to bed!
Wednesday: Ford's last radiation treatment - took three dozen mini-bundt cakes. Alyzabeth went to her senior yearbook photo session - separate post. Took Ford to Dr. Underkolfer (PA) for a groin rash.
Alyzabeth attended the Clay County Volunteer orientation (to volunteer at the library - it was required). We ate spaghetti/meatballs for dinner.
Thursday: Ford woke up with a blistering/bloody scalp. We called and got in to see Dr. Cassiday - he said all normal, worst will be this week and prescribed a burn ointment. Drove to Ford's Parkinson exercises (I walked 4000 steps, "only" 84 degrees outside, talking with Mom, Terri still in hospital), I delivered some VBS snacks to FIUMC (Valerie C.). A quick trip to Publix, then home. Haircuts for both Ford and I; then a stop at Walmart for Ford's new scalp ointment. We both took showers (wash off tiny hair pieces from Steve's cuts). Made spinach dip, appetizers to take to Panama City.
Blackened salmon and a chopped salad kit for dinner.
Friday: Drove to Panama City to visit with Bill and Joan. Lane and Hannah (and Collins). Separate post with pictures. AA worked on her Statistics class homework, watched some Star Wars.
On Friday, Terri went home from the hospital and had a rough 24 hours with vomiting. She got a little better and finally on the mend on Sunday. Sunday Chris, Autumn and Anthony went to LSL along with Britney Andrew and Chloe. They all went swimming and had fun in the lake.
Saturday: Alyzabeth is on her own with Ginger. She walked her on the Black Creek trail, ate leftover salmon, mixed up a chop salad kit.
Sunday: Drove back from Panama City. AA had a Spanish lesson with Laureen Burke - they met a Bold Bean, walked along the river, Laureen got overheated, so AA got her car and they finished the "lesson". Laureen is fine, just a very hot day. We arrived home about 3:15 p.m. and we ate leftovers for dinner including my spinach dip.
Mom sent a photo of everyone at the lake:
