February 6th, 2024: Tuesday, Terri and I flew to Portland.
Mom picked us up, then drove Terri to meet Chris, his friend and Autum and Anthony in Augusta; they stayed and ate at Red Robin. Mom and I went home and made a large salad, watched Finding Your Roots, chatted with Melissa and settled in!
Wednesday: Mom's Birthday! I worked, drank coffee, breakfast of oatmeal and blueberries, Beautiful day, cold and sunny!
Mom and I then got ready for lunch at Bob's Seafood; since we were going to a steakhouse for dinner, seafood was our lunch of choice. I had scallops and Mom ate the senior basket of fried clam strips. Yum! We stopped at the Good Life Market, Raymond, wonderful selection of local and gourmet foods, plus fresh salads and sandwiches. I bought a bottle of wine and three local single beers; Mom bought an alfredo sauce made with cauliflower. Andrew and Chloe arrived at 3:30, we visited, she checked out Charlotte's Barbie case with Barbie and Skipper (very smelly, will need to clean).
