New Years Day - Monday at the Jacksonville Zoo!

We managed to get moving in the morning (did not drink last night - so all clear headed), AA drove to pick up Siyan (Donaldson) and then I drove them to the Zoo. Ford stayed home, did the dishes, took care of Ginger, etc.
We enjoyed the sunny, warmer weather, up to 64 degrees! I walked by myself (walked about 13,000 steps; over 5 miles) while AA and Siyan explored for hours; Siyan had not been there since kindergarten.
We ate lunch at the Trout River Cafe (only one open), Siyan had the chicken wrap, AA had the caprese wrap and I had the cheeseburger.
First two photos at entrance to Zoo:
Siyam took a few selfies; with 3D glasses:
The beautiful Asian Lanterns, Colors of the Wild. Would like to see it at night.

Took the train at the end, we walked several miles, beautiful day.
Baby Jaguar Banks was outside playing while his mother watched.

I saw seven giraffes; there were actually eight.
