Ian's EPIC 17th Birthday Party for Cancer Families

The Bailey's planned a birthday party for five cancer families, to give them some joy, fun and dinner.

We arrived at 2:30 to help with set up and to find a place for the hotdog cooker. AA and Siyan were busy helping with balloons, tags, and other tasks, I did not see all as I was helping Mama Lisa set up the food buffet. The party went well, kids had fun on the bouncy houses, playing corn hole and generally running around with the DJ blasting. We helped pick up while the Bailey's had the brunt of the work and loading in their two cars, I know they did a wonderful thing for the cancer families. Plus, many toys were brought as donation to the hospital.
Shannon's message right before the party:
Our final introduction needs no introduction at all...our beloved Ian, EE, Peanut, our son. EE is our why...our reason to celebrate. He has taught us and a community how to love selflessly, how to give selflessly and here we are, coming together as a community again to celebrate 6 other beautiful children, their siblings and their parents. EE officially turns 17 on 11/04/2023, and his father, brothers and I could not think of any better way to celebrate our son, their brother than by doing what he always did...gather friends and family to "smile and be happy". Please gather your friends and your family, and BRING 1 OR 20 UNWRAPPED GIFTS FOR EE'S EPIC DREAMS COME TRUE TOY DRIVE. We are planning an Epic Evening--EE'S EPIC NIGHT OF CELEBRATIONS.

Shannon's thank you to all:
First, thank you to each family  (Brynley, Wyatt, Bentley, Jack, and Tanner) who allowed us to shower your family with love--you gave our family a gift that will be treasured each day...you allowed us to feel love and joy instead of heartbreak on our EE's 17th birthday.
EE's Epic Night of Celebrations and Dreams Come True Toy drive was perfect, beautiful and so full of love.  It was a night full of smiles, giggles, fun, family , support,  and memories made. I am so  thankful to everyone who jumped in and helped us to move our family's vision to celebrate and honor EE on his 17th birthday into fruition. You all made the night special for 5 beautiful children and their families and you showed up big for EE's DCT Toy Drive.  Our youngest, Owen, said this morning, "Mommy I can't wait for next year's celebration...will we get to honor different children....mommy did you see the smiles on all the children's faces, Brynley even high-fived me when I was dressed up as baby shark...." You guys, do you know how powerful that is to know that he felt so special being able to create smiles on other children's faces.  It could have been a day of sorrow and tears for our family, but instead, you all helped us find joy!  Being able to support other families ....what greater gift is there than that.  You all helped us surround other families who are navigating their own difficult days, and shower them with love. Here are just a few photos and videos from the evening.
