Found this photo from last Saturday of Dylan with her middle school dance troupe, Leaa said they did great, made St. Augustine proud.
Monday, 6th: Ford had an appointment with Dr. Green, ordered new glasses plus set another appointment with Dr. P. Then off to his Parkinson exercises. AA had an appointment after school for her hip/knee with Dr. Sacksteader at JOI (ordered an MRI). While waiting for the doctor, I mentioned about learning backgammon as didn't require her knee (joking), AA thought I said badminton which does require her knee, so laughed hysterically about the misunderstanding (I tried to catch a few photos).
AA drove the Honda for the first time, much larger than the Subaru, the seat did raise up enough for her, she did an excellent job of it.
I offered and Nicole accepted the books AA and I read/reviewed when she was 7 years old, until she started her period at age 10. Very good, with lots of practical explanations and conversations.Left in a plain brown box at Nicole's home:
Also offered many DVD's to Terri, she will decide once she is here. The Collins family (twins in AA's class level) youngest is selling Florida honey as a fund raiser, so bought two bottles. We can always use some.
Wrapped up the evening with Ford's spaghetti dinner, watched the Sound of Music, plus AA studying, many tests this week, Spanish, Pre-Calc, History and Chemistry (right before spring break).
Tuesday: Took the Subaru to the shop for a brake light replacement. Happy Hour at the RH with Hugh, Maureen and Kathy (I made the cranberry brie bites).
Wednesday: AA went to the PGA TPC golf tournament; same as last year, attended an Athlete's Christian breakfast, and then off to the tournament, windy and coolish day (70 degrees) - separate post. AA had several tests to study for, and was exhausted when she arrived home from the TPC. Bruschetta for dinner.
Our big event was taking the Ford truck to Justin.
Thursday: I worked as usual, Ford went to his Parkinson exercises, I actually rested for the first time in a long while ( one hour nap!). Another beautiful coolish day! Salmon, asparagus and mashed potatoes for dinner.
Friday: Ford picked up his new eyeglasses and AA ordered hers (after school). V's pizza doe dinner. Finished packing for our spring break trip. Hard rain, delayed the TPC golf tournament at the Stadium course.
Saturday: Fly to Maine! Planned to visit with Mom/Mel for a couple of nights, but they are sick so off to Terri's, then maybe to Mom's and off to Boston on Thursday. More details as each spring break day unfolds.
