Tuesday: Our plans were to drive to Belfast for lobster rolls and bowling, waiting for the Northeaster to begin with wind and snow. Unfortunately, I woke up with a migraine, so stayed home, getting sick whenever I tried to drink or eat. Sad, boring day for AA and Terri!
Wednesday: Snow and wind continued; we had planned to stay in so we did while I tried to recover. Horrible feeling, poor AA slept on the LR sofa and recliner chair, not knowing if I was contagious. Terri bought lobster meat so we did have lobster rolls (I ate a little lobster meat with melted butter and applesauce stayed down!). The trip never did work out to stay at Mom's house, between my migraine and the weather, I could barely move.

While I was sick, Terri did get AA to make a small snowman. Glad she played a little in the snow.
Thursday: We did well, arriving at the Amtrak/Downeaster station two hours early. On the drive to Portland, Terri received a call from BIL Greg/Lise about Ginny having a stroke. Terri went straight to the hospital to be with her in Auburn. Ginny did not recover and passed sometime Friday night/Saturday morning. Train food:

AA and I were able to walk from the North Station to our Marriott Courtyard Hotel.
Once settled, I called for a cab to go to Mike's Pastry shop (to buy cannoli's!). It was silly as we did eventually walk around the north end so dismissed the cab (I was still feeling weak and it was cold/windy outside).
We went back to the hotel to drop off our pastries (weighed a ton!!) then off to dinner at Tony and Elaine's, just a couple of blocks from the hotel. I chose it as it was close by, and it had good reviews and looked informal. We enjoyed garlic bread and caprese salad/appetizer. We were practically full when our dinners arrived, spaghetti and meatballs and baked gnocchi for AA.
