Wednesday: Ford's eye appointment early in the morning (8:15) then brunch meal from Maple Street Biscuit Company and a gift card for the Bailey's. We bought cat food and took to the River House for their fundraiser this Saturday. Enjoyed 1.5 glasses of wine each. AA drove to the golf course, driving on Highway 17 for first time.
Made the easy spaghetti, cherry tomatoes, garlic, spinach and parmesan cheese. Plus she has lots of homework, two tests on Friday, already had a calculus quiz, earned a 100.
Thursday: My eye appointment (no dilated eyes!). No golf team practice today. Lots of studying. AA with Laurie, pre-calculus tutor.
Friday: Golf lesson with Coach Bryan was postponed until Sunday due to storm/lightning. We voted and then visited with Larry. He has had a new diagnoses of lesions on his liver. More testing with possible radiation and chemo in his near future. AA came home with a 94 in her Chemistry test and a 100 (out of 105 points) in her pre-calculus test! Great start to the year!
Saturday: Ford and I made a spaghetti pie and a crock pot full of taco soup for Christa, we dropped it off with scoops, garlic bread and a salad kit. We visited for about 30 minutes, I held Finn, still so small at 6 lbs.
Next we went to the River House, Dog Days of Summer fund raiser for the Animal Shelter with Kathy. Maureen is still recovering so staying at home (pneumonia and heart congestion). It was HOT, so did stay very long, bid on one item which I assume I was outbid.
Sunday: AA slept in - until 7:30 a.m. We relaxed, did some meal planning for the week, a load of wash, then off to AA's golf lesson at 11:00 a.m. (she drove). We wanted to do something fun, but with the heat, we decided on the Elvis movie, began at 2 pm and home about 4:30. It was a good movie, but so depressing. Even the music didn't cheer me up. He was so taken advantage of and mistreated, encouraged to do drugs to keep his energy up, etc. Very sad.
Dinner was leftovers with a nice rainstorm - we need the rain!
