Jack's News:
Fleming Island’s Emmet Kuhlenkamp continued to impress fellow players and those watching as he took down a stellar group of great junior players and past champions. His score of three under par lead the Boys 13-18 Division of players. Kuhlenkamp just coming home from the Florida Junior Tour Team Championship, where he closed that event with 2-under par 69 continued his fine play posting his beautiful looking score of “67”. He had four birdies on the day and one lone bogey. Watching this young man play over the past three days has been a joy and you can see he has made a commitment to golf and his game. Look out junior golf!
In the Girls 13-18 division Lake City’s Veona Osborne once again displayed her proficiency in the game. She would sail to an easy victory winning the TOC by seven shots over her closest competitor. Osborne would have two birdies with an outstanding score of two over par 72. She will be wonderful to watch in the new tour season as she begins her senior year.
Jacksonville’s Addy Vogt (79) who has found a new gear in her game finished in the second spot.
