Post-COVID!

Last week was very quiet for us due to COVID positive tests. Today, (Monday, 06/27/22), no one had a temperature, only slight coughing, some tiredness but definitely on the mend! AA did reschedule her driver's permit test that was scheduled for tomorrow, still don't want to expose anyone to our germs yet!
I worked in the morning while the other two rested; then took the car to be cleaned (reminder to never take it back to the Charles & George car wash - maybe got 75% cleaned) and brought back Greek deli lunch.
We have managed to keep separate but today began the general co-mingling again, with masks on inside the house (except when in our three separate bedrooms), and continuing to wipe down all touch surfaces.
We ventured out in the car (with masks on) and walked the Black Creek Trail southern end (1.1 mile). Earlier there was a slight rain shower that cooled the heat down but by the time we walked, it was back up to 90 degrees.
Tuesday: Another resting day; while I worked. AA and I shopped at Michael's and Target for a back to school planner and candles. Nothing exciting! Leftovers for lunch (spaghetti) and dinner (leftover pinto beans).
Wednesday: Received the hoop earrings made by Molly Campbell. We drove to the St. Augustine Outlet shops to find new sneakers for AA. She bought a pair in the first store we stopped in - Nike. We then picked up some Sonny's BBQ and took it to the Ancient City Brewery nearby (our favorite "Cheers" bar).
Beautiful crepe myrtles in bloom - not ours - the neighbors.
Received eight pairs of hoop earrings made by Molly (Christmas gifts for the Florida family women):
AA and I in our Maine t-shirts from Aunti-M.
Thursday: We are still relaxing, resting. AA did go to the FIGC Back Tee Academy in the morning for two hours. Then off to restaurant  Iguana on Park. We enjoy lunches out when AA is in school, so this summer will treat her to a few restaurant lunches. As always ate too much! Delicious! AA tried shrimp ceviche and decided it wasn't exactly what she thought it was.
I have been talking to Larry Bradley every other day while he is in the hospital (since his operation June 16th); he is finally on the mend and may be home in a few days.
And AA and Ford seem to be at 90% after having COVID, AA has a runny nose, and still rests each day.
Our neighbor Nancy (and David, he has Parkinson's and they own the pretty crepe myrtles) dropped by with a homemade cheesecake pie. We have nice neighbors, we haven't been able to visit much since late May and now it is way to hot to socialize outside.
Friday: I tested Ford and AA and they are now negative for COVID!
Back to normal! AA went to the FIGC Academy to practice golf, then we had lunch at Time Out Grill (we call it the "Greek" place).
I made a new recipe of Mexican/Taco casserole which was decent. We went to the library and checked out two movies (and two books), movie Gosford Park (2002, watched Sunday evening, lots of familiar British actors but very confusing, so many characters to figure out who is who) and movie Dead Poet Society, which we watched and AA called "depressing" after it was over. Yep!
AA finally/decided to build her LEGO CNY Tiger - cute!
Red, white and blue candles with some of my odd blue glass pieces - July 4th decorations on the dining table:
Saturday: I grocery shopped early and made the cole slaw for tomorrow (and did dishes, a little cleaning, walked dog and did a little APTIM work). Ford and AA drove off to see Stephanie at San Jose, played nine holes, a new game - each shot you move to where the best spot is and hit from there. Later, we went to the River House, only Kathy met us there (Hugh and Maureen were driving back from Tampa, visiting family). It was cooler due to a heavy rainstorm just an hour earlier. Took brie cheese with strawberry on butter cookie plus grapes as our happy hour snack. Photo is of a few I left at home for AA to snack on:
Tomorrow is July 3rd at Carolyn's and AA golf lesson.
