From Jack's email: We have another great field for this weeks “St. Augustine Junior” at World Golf Village – Slammer and Squire. We have one hundred and fourteen players which tops last year’s event with One-hundred and four, and 2020 with ninety-three players. I guess this is one of the players favorites. You may have noticed that this year we have done a course flip-flop and we are at Slammer and Squire instead of King and Bear for this event and that is because of the clubs aerification schedule. This year the North Florida Amateur will be contested on the King and Bear instead of the traditional Slammer.
World Golf Village SS Starting Time: 9:06 #10 A. Morgan, D. Dailey, M. Campbell. {Danielle dropped out}.

Round 2 Scorecard:
AA had two bad Par 3 holes, one each round, that affected her score and her attitude towards her game (if she had "par'd the two holes, would have placed 2nd). Otherwise, played very nice consistent rounds using her new driver.

From AA's text to Stephanie Connelly Eiswerth: The tournament was okay. I didn’t play terrible, but there are some shots I wish I had back. I was hitting my driver well. My approach shots were not great. Most of my misses were putts. Then I had to get up and down for par.
Jack's Newsletter: If Hogan and Snead were still alive, they would be immensely proud of what caliber of golf is being showcased at the course named for them and coming out of the North Florida Junior Players Tour. The duo would captivate many of golf enthusiasts and excite the world and that is just what is happening here as 114 dreamers navigate the stellar and challenging “Slammer and Squire” Many thanks to the Professional staff for their warm welcome and memorable moments. The TOUR is lucky to visit the World Golf Village courses 4-5 times a season and it is always a treat to play the courses.
Lake City is in the spotlight again as Veona Osborne, who is no stranger to the top of leaderboard came in on top posting a one over par round of 73 in round one of the Overall Girls competition. Green Cove Springs Taylor Young would come in two back at 75.
In round two Osborne would keep pace with any realistic challenges from those close to her, but the real story was coming from nine strokes back as Jacksonville’s Sahana Chokshi had her sights on the championship trophy and a historic comeback. Chokshi double bogeyed her opening hole and then carded back-to-back birdies and added four more birdies on her inward half to post the low round of the tournament at -2 under par 70 to come in atop the leaderboard. Would it stand? Only time would tell, but not to be as Osborne strung 10 straight pars to ensure victory, however 9 back and to take the Runner-up spot is quite the accomplishment.
