Week of June 20th

Monday and Tuesday, Ford and AA were at the Jacksonville Beaches Tournament (separate post). I took Ginger to the groomers, we had missed her regular appointment, so Ginger was a mess! One before picture, two after - shaved like a poodle!
Ford came home on Tuesday, saying he was coming down with a cold. Little did we know at that point our entire week would be turned upside down! COVID! I called Joy, and texted all family members. No one else is sick, so could it be possible that Ford and AA caught is on Monday? Since they were outside at the golf course, just seems unlikely.
Wednesday, AA and I shopped (bought three bras), had lunch at Palermo,
just to get out of the house, away from Ford. He stayed in the MB, AA in her bedroom and I went to the guest room. Good news that Ford and AA were not sick to their stomachs, just cold symptoms and Ford had headaches.
Thursday, AA and I picked up her clubs as they were all regripped by @BryanGolf on Fleming Island.
AA began sneezing and saying she was coming down with a cold!
I made a new recipe, asparagus in fontina cheese (Bobby Flay's - baked in "popover type" batter). And I made chicken piccata, all yummy. So glad they are both eating well.
By Friday, AA tested positive, so lots of liquids and naps for us! I am feeling great, hope to keep it that way.
AA missed playing with Chloe and her lessons with Coach Bryan. Now waiting to see about playing in the NFJG Tournament on Monday.
Saturday, I made another batch of bran muffins, adding one cup of raisins - Ford's request.  Hanging out watching too much TV!
Sunday, another slow day. I made my Mom's three bean salad and Ford made pinto beans in the crock-pot for dinner.
While Ford and AA continue to recuperate, I took Ginger for a walk on the Black Creek Trail and put gas in the car.
We tried a new light beer, Lagunitas "Daytime" but Ford said it didn't sit well with him, so after tasting a few ounces, we stopped happy hour!
A very quiet week, thankful my family is on the mend!
