Visit to Maine!

Arrived in Maine on Saturday afternoon. The American Airline flights were smooth, no issues. Mom picked us up. We went to paddle board, but a heavy rainstorm came through. We made homemade lobster rolls for dinner and the potato salad for tomorrow. After a two games of Rummikub (AA and I each won one), we turned in for the night.
Arriving at the Portland Airport:

Sunday: Family came up for the day, the weather was perfect, sun, a slight breeze. Melissa and Mom took care of many details from setting up the shore with the water "toys", picnic tables cleaned with tablecloths, getting the sandwich platters from Amato's, ice in the cooler, doing dishes, etc. Andrew arrived after his bike ride of three hours, then Britney and Chloe. Terri came with Brandon driving her car; along with Chris, Heather, Autumn and Anthony.
Melissa gave everyone sea-doo rides, took Brandon to jump off the big rock, visited with her DHS friend Chris Maria and girlfriend Chrissy. Auntie Jean arrived and we all sat on the deck or shoreline, visiting, chatting with the kids.

Hilary came at 5 pm, good visit, had our 2nd meal of sandwiches and potato salad. Hil still has a cat and dog Mya; got caught up on her house plans, from selling her current home, purchased an RV, being delivered this week, to getting quotes for her new main home, small cabin and garage. Plus getting her boat ready to launch on June 10th.
Monday, Memorial Day, we drove to Grammie's cemetery and on the way stopped at Mom's usual greenhouse for plants. Plenty to choose from and met the current owner (grandson of woman Mom used to buy from). Gledhill family stone:
Grammie Merrill:
Drove scenic way home, Snow Falls Road (waterfall on side of road) and to Paris Hill Common for the view of the New Hampshire mountains, former Vice President Hannibal Hamlin's house.
Back at the camp, cooked burgers. Nice day, lake calm at evening. Water temperature - like ice cubes! AA and I discussed book Great Gatsby and two movies, also new Netflix Persuasion (July 15th). Tired as we are waking up at 4 - 5 am each morning (worked well, as I did my APTIM work early each morning). Andrew and Britney, Chloe up for several hours. Chloe wore out AA. Andrew swam then biked home. Had first/one glass of wine.
Wednesday: On our way to visit Auntie Jean and Jim (he was replacing her roof), bought bakery pumpkin breakfast cookies, mixed berry crumble bars, pumpkin bread.
Photo album of party in Green Cove Springs - couldn't remember the date, will look up!
Sun in our eyes!

After our visit, we decided to drive to the coast, drove to Harpswell, Orrs and Bailey Island. Thought we would see a lighthouse, but found out it was far off the coast (separate post).
