First Week of May 2022 and Mother's Day

Monday, May 2nd! Usual start to the week. AA went to the FIGC after school. We arrived back at 4:45 p.m. and enjoyed a drink in the shade. Dinner was bruschetta (meatless Monday).
Tuesday: Usual daily routine, work and school. Plus Ford having dental surgery on his front, uppers with bone graph and stitches.
I made meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner, Ford did fine eating, very slowly. AA studied for her history test.
Wednesday, Usual day again, plus taking recyclables to the library drop off bins and getting COLD smoothies for Ford's lunch. Luckily, he's not in pain, only feeling very sore. And - May 4th - May the Force be with you!
AA's golf practice and volunteering for the PGA Jr. Team practice.
Thursday: AA stayed for another biology review session.
Friday: PGA Jr. Fitness Friday. I cooked red beans and rice for dinner (cook once, eat twice!).
Saturday and Sunday: NFJG Coast Cup Team (separate post). Saturday, I stayed home, did cleaning chores, laundry. Carolyn came over and we shopped on line for her new LR rug. We had a light early dinner (leftover meatloaf and potatoes), then to the River House for one glass of wine (she treated me!), before she drove home (she forgot the eggs, so drove over Monday morning).
Sunday, AA presented me with a Mother's Day chocolate chip cookie heart, a balloon, flowers and a card. Later, after the NFJG Team Match (where I received a rose from NFJG), we picked up Sonny's BBQ and had a beer at our favorite local brewery, Ancient City. A beautiful day with "cooler" temperatures and breeze, as within a week, back to summer temperatures.
