Monday was my Mom's birthday. And Pam's and Werner's. Ford did the grocery shopping. Another cold, bleak day. Dinner of bought BBQ sandwiches and homemade potato salad.
Photo from last week - Mom and Terri visited Ginny Stone:
Last week I read about bamboo toilet paper, sustainable unlike cutting trees for TP. If the family agrees after our trial test with these two brands, we will switch over. No more killing trees (next, I need to ween us off paper towels!).
Tuesday: I am taping hearts on AA's bedroom door (have done in past years, added a few new ones). Stuffed cabbage, first time making. Went to the River House to make a donation to Michelle who is out for a few weeks (surgery).
Stuffed cabbage (cabbage from County Line Produce) and a made sauce from canned tomatoes.
Wednesday: Ford went to the dermatologist, surgery on his right sideburn area (12 stitches!). Bruschetta for dinner.
Thursday: Ford made homemade spaghetti sauce. AA practiced at the back driving range. Ford and I enjoyed a break on Talon's patio.

Saturday: I made homemade biscuits for our breakfast (Ford loves them). Lots of Apple jam and maple syrup (from Maine) on them!
We watched a live stream of Dylan's weekend competition (photos are screen shots during the live stream). They take it to a high level!
I had planned to visit with Carolyn but she wanted to catch up with her errands and working at her home. AA and I made the white chocolate-peppermint popcorn, found out everyone loved it at Christmas, so bought Valentine's day sprinkles and made the batch in pink and red.
We went to the River House happy hour, enjoyed sitting outside with a heater on above us. We saw Jeff Wiegand paddleboard by us (and quite windy), then he showed up at the River House, good seeing him. Always a good time.
I used the leftover cabbage roll stuffing for green bell peppers. Not too bad!
Sunday: I had a slow day (wasn't moving very well, had one too many glasses of wine last night). I made red beans and rice, Larry Bradley came over at 5:00 p.m. We enjoyed Velveeta-Rotel dip, plus watching the Super Bowl game. The LA Rams won with a go-ahead touchdown in the last 2 minutes.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day!
