Week of August 2nd - 8th

Busy week, now that we have been home one week. I worked on Tuesday and Thursday at NGS.
August 4th: Charlotte's funeral was nice, simple. Larry went directly home afterwards.
August 5th: AA and Ford got haircuts and AA had her first High School golf team practice. We had Larry over for dinner of pork tacos
Fleming Island High School golf team (Freshman), excited to watch her season unfold! #FIHS #girlsgolf #juniorgolf
Pam Davis - Yea! 👏… but how is she a freshman ? 🤦‍♀️ time sure has flown ! Good luck to her for a great year!
Kathy Fitzgerald Eason - Woot Woot AA. Good luck with your season. Hit them straight.
Mary Ranaghan Latini - I will be following your posts regarding her HS golf. I so enjoyed playing with Alyzabeth here in Maine and she is a delight. I know you and Ford are so proud, and you should be.
Sharon Register - How exciting!! Great things to come!
Cat Pmarie - So exciting!!!
Deborah Crook Hudgins - Exciting!
MC Cobbie Cobb - Marvelous!!!!
Ann Caton Cobb - So proud of my granddaughter. Love her so. Let the games begin.

I sent Pam Davis flowers (from Bouqs), long over due from her father passing.
Friday was Freshman orientation at #FIHS. We had a session at 10:15 with the principal then joined AA walking around finding her classrooms.
I received Sharon Redmond Grover's cookie recipe, these are the cookies George always made from her recipe. Will try it soon!
I bought these beautiful gladiolus at Publix, many more blooms opened, very pretty purple.
Saturday, I went to Wayne Walters' visitation and saw Paul and Diana Smith (again) and many SJRPP co-workers (Chris Doyle, Ricafrente, Matt Walters, Bill Adams, Frank Bigelow, Terri Wilkinson, Walt Eastwood, Paul Davis, etc.).
Saturday, we went to our usual happy hour at the River House. AA took boiled peanuts for Paul C. He loved them. Bought AA a RH t-shirt as a way to say thank you. I made homemade guacamole for the 2nd time (Jim/Doc's recipe). Photo with Bob, Steve in background.
Sunday, the Bailey's invited us to meet them at Capital Grille for dinner. We sat outside in the patio and enjoyed delicious steaks (very pricey to us!). We dressed up a little:
Another week has flown by!
