Mother's Day!

My Mother's Day began with breakfast of pancakes, fruit and coffee, with flowers and a balloon. AA gave me two blue planter pots and two steamer baskets, one bamboo and one metal. We needed them each time we would make dumplings. Great gifts!
We called my Mom, was glad her gift arrived in time (I am not always "timely" with gift ordering!). Ordered Stonewall Kitchen several cherry products and cherry blossom napkins and our cards arrived. Good work to the Post Office!
(Rainier Reserve Cherries, Tillen Farms Pearl Cherries, Merry Maraschino Cherries, Sour Cherry Jam, Maine Blueberry Cherry Jam (Organic), Cherry Blossom Cocktail Napkins, Bada Bing Cherry Syrup)
We drove to my favorite little plant shop, Maggie's' Herb Farm. I bought one bell pepper plant and a few herbs and a new lettuce plant. Will be working in the dirt tomorrow!

Then to our favorite microbrewery - Ancient City. We enjoyed the new brew - Diamante. Very good.
We picked up Sonny's BBQ sandwiches and enjoyed our little outing.
I always try taking a selfie, bright sun in our eyes and my two companions always resist!
We had a lazy afternoon back home, nothing planned.
We called Joy to wish her a Happy Mother's Day, all is well in her world. We will see her in mid-June, stopping by on her way to Missouri. Hope all our friends and family Moms had a enjoyable day.
