Easter Weekend - Love and Peace

Saturday, we drove to St. Augustine to deliver chocolate bunnies to the family. Leaa with take ones for JK and Kilee to their Mom's on Sunday. After a visit INSIDE their home (our first in a year!), we drove to the new Buc-Ee's gas/travel center near the World Golf Village. Crowded inside, bought the corn puffs snack (Beaver Nuggets) and BBQ sandwiches (average).
We also dropped off chocolate bunnies for Avery and Mila (they were with Kim and Marvin), had a driveway chat with Jordan while Nicole was inside dealing with a family crisis about her brother. Jordan is talented, making a sofa table for a brother.

Ladies room - clean!
I made up gift bags with chocolate bunnies, didn't take a photo except for the last one for Nicole, while driving to their home.
We joined 5 p.m. Happy Hour on Zoom with Hugh, Maureen, Penny as the day was very cool with the wind chill factor.
We had bruschetta for dinner and watch the Women's Amateur's final round at Augusta Georgia and then the NCAA basketball. Ford said the Gonzaga game was the best ever; with a three pointer hail Mary at the very end for the win in overtime.
Sunday: Easter morning, AA opened her "teenager" Easter basket and cork bulletin board, tic-tac-toe, extension cord, lots of chocolate, eggs hidden with dinner mints in them, then we enjoyed the breakfast casserole. We watched the Drive, Chip and Putt at Augusta, Masters. We knew a few contenders from AA's U.S. Kids Golf competitions, Avery Z. and Morgan R.; also Miles Russell, from NFJG.
Carolyn and Tyler came for dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and slow cooker carrots (new recipe). We bought a carrot cake for dessert. They brought flowers and the two bottles of champagne, both disappeared fast! After dessert, they went for a walk with Ginger and Bella while Ford and I picked up and did the dishes. We counted the candy in Jar 1 and Jar 2; AA won one and tied with Tyler for the second one, so they split it. Tyler managed to keep Ginger fairly still while we took several different pictures:

AA won 1.5 of the candy!
A wonderful Easter, kept it "low key" but we are starting to release ourselves slowly from this pandemic and the paralysis of the fear of it (COVID19). It remains a threat so we will still be cautious, the mask will be our friend for many more months.
