First Week of March 2021!

Monday, we did the usual chores including stripping the beds the day before Donna comes to clean. I bought a few flowering plants at Home Depot to add to my winter pots. We went to the River House, our first "reunion" with the Happy Hour crowd, Hugh, Maureen and Kathy. Penny declined. The weather was perfect, the wind died down, barely a breeze. We enjoyed chatter for about 1.5 hours, then went home to meet AA from her golf lesson (and have dinner of leftover chicken tortellini soup and garlic bread).
Tuesday, rained all day, I worked at NGS office. Ford made sloppy Joe's for dinner with a side spinach salad. We are watching The Voice now, good show. Donna still comes every other Tuesday. So happy for a clean house!
Ford has booked a company to pressure wash the house, screen porch and driveway on Monday March 8th.
Wednesday, a wet morning, but the rain/squall front (with lots of lightning) passed through early, so a cooler drier day. Working from home. AA being cute and pouty with Ginger:
Ford is making air fryer fish again, we do like it! I made hot chocolate for AA and corny muffins to go with dinner.
Thursday: I worked at the NGS office, nice and quiet. AA went to her golf lesson. I stopped by Carolyn's library to pick up two dozen eggs (we took off our masks outside for the selfie).
I noticed my eyes having blurred vision, light flashes and threads causing shadows in my vision. I made an appointment for tomorrow morning, Friday.
Friday, I did nothing except go to three eye doctor's appointments. The first, with my regular doctor at island Eye Care, did an "annual" exam, checked my prescription but could not conclusively say what my problem was in my right eye, possible beginning of a retina detachment, so made appointment with Clay Eye in OP off Kingsley. After two appointments there, much poking and prodding around my eye and blinding lights looking behind my eye, Dr. Dupree said I did have some floaters (most likely gel and blood) from a "vitreous detachment". We will wait and follow up in three weeks. Hopefully, it is the typical harmless problem in healthy people (just getting more birthdays as the Doctor described it). I could not work much as my eyes were just plain sore! Ford drove me every where, so only got done the grocery shopping for our weekend meals. AA was in school and had a geometry test.
Flowers blooming, including the lemon tree left by the former owners, our ponderosas lemon tree, gift from Carolyn, and a few plants I bought earlier in the week.
