Monday, after using the new juicer that Leaa/Jesse gifted to Ford, we ran errands and as a treat, last day of Christmas vacation, went to the new Marble Slab Creamery for ice cream.
Juicer with apples, cucumbers, ginger, spinach and celery. We were not keen on the taste, too much celery, so we will search for another recipe.

Thank you card from Marsha and Carl, "Living the Dream"! Cute!
I worked Tuesday the 5th, Wednesday and half of Thursday. And actually got in a few golf/putting practices.
On Thursday, 7th, another package arrived from Melissa for AA, a Gator laundry basket, or cooler or trash can:
Friday, 8th: I went to Stephanie's ladies group lesson and practiced pitching. I continue to walk Ginger daily. This came up on my memories in Facebook - Four years ago - AA and Ms. Penny golfing!!
Saturday, 9th: AA and I went to the OP Mall to exchange the Christmas gift of American Eagle clothes she received from Leaa/Jesse; we had her putter extended an inch and re-gripped, then went to the library and enjoyed our 5:00 p.m. Happy Hour. I boiled eggs and made deviled eggs and egg salad for sandwiches. We played three games of Rummikub, first time in 2021 and AA did not win a game! :(
AA while we were playing Rummikub:
Deviled Eggs and the red cabbage slaw for pork tacos:
Melissa sent more Christmas gifts, a UMO Black Bear short sleeve shirt for AA and a long sleeved gray UMO shirt for me!

Sunday, 10th: I made the same recipe as before - Blueberry Clafoutis, always delicious.
We decided to drive to "nowhere" and ended up in Deland. We drove around the Stetson University and when I looked up the tuition + housing + fees = $68,000!! For one year. The Florida Bright Future Scholarship pays $212 per credit hour; Stetson costs over $1500 per credit hour. AA has not selected any college yet, she still loves the Gators but there are many options at other colleges as long as she gets a full ride for academics and/or golfing. We drove to the Stetson Mansion, we knew it was closed but still took a look. After walking downtown and seeing most stores are closed on Sunday, we headed north to the Pit Masters BBQ and ate outside. With a little chill in the air (55 degrees) and a pesky begging cat, we did enjoy eating at a restaurant (outside). Everyone seemed good about wearing masks, we are very comfortable with putting it on whenever we get out of the car.
