Disgusting, Unbelievable What 45 Did!

And the news gets worse. Suffering through four years under Trump's "non-leadership", lying, bullying, over 10,000+ tweets, inciting divisiveness and now violence. Unbelievable. Horrific. There is so much news, reports, facts, opinions.... about impeaching Trump, and removing those who supported him. So many are being arrested. Just horrible as we know if it was citizens of color what would have happened.

Donald Trump was JUST caught on tape asking the Georgia Secretary of State to "find the votes" that would help him win the state. This is an election crime, plain and simple.

The news has been very grim, since our President incited supporters to rally at the Capital. After the horrible events on January 6th, with domestic terrorists storming the Capital, at least Congress 

Congress confirmed President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory early Thursday morning, hours after a mob of loyalists urged on by President Trump stormed and occupied the Capitol, disrupting the final electoral count in a shocking display of violence that shook the core of American democracy.

Today, we witnessed a horrific and historic event. A mob of President Trump’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol Building in order to disrupt the counting of electoral votes. They threatened law enforcement, members of congress, and Capitol staff. This was an attack against the United States of America.

Let's be clear, we must call this out for what it was: a radical act of terrorism and a violent coup attempt. And this assault on our democracy is the direct result of the President urging right-wing agitators to "stand back and stand by,” his repeated delusions that he won the election, and his dangerous and false claims about widespread voter fraud.

The President's enablers have inflamed discord and hatred at an historically fragile moment for our nation, when we have most needed unity and compassion, and do nothing to further solutions to the health, economic, and social issues we face. While the Capitol has been secured, I am still praying for the safety of members of law enforcement, Congress, and Capitol staff.

Today was a dark day for our democracy, and a difficult and fearful day for all Americans as we watched our Capitol be overrun. But we cannot lose hope. We must remember that these actions do not represent our country, or the will of the American people.

Together, we will move forward. In fourteen days we will have a new president who inspires, not incites.

It was a huge and horrifying day in our history. Our own citizens attacking our own government, all because the president refuses to accept that he lost an election. In their minds, they are patriots defending democracy from an illegitimate election. In reality, they are terrorists destroying the foundations of what makes America great.

Sicknick and Howard Liebengood, and all Capitol Police Officers and law enforcement across this great Nation, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, January 13, 2021.

Please unfriend me if you believe the insurrection on our Nation's Capitol Complex Jan. 6 was an act of patriotism. I double ask you to unfriend me if you believe that this act of planned, orchestrated violence intent on overthrowing our democracy was committed by Antifa instead of white nationalist Trump supporters. Federal prosecutors will tell you otherwise. Trump has done nothing but tear down this country from within simply so the weak and blind will follow him. Triple shame to the Republicans who abandoned any spine and understanding of what it truly means to be a Republican simply out of fear that he would say something bad about you and your political career would be over. Democracy is under attack and it is everyone's job to stand up and defend democratic principles, not divisive unAmerican reality TV show garbage.
