Monday started slow, as seems for most my days off from work. We finally were dressed by 9:00 a.m. while AA was studying her Spanish lesson. We slept in until 6:30!! Yahoo! Now tomorrow, when I set the alarm for 4:50 a.m. will be tough waking up! It was off to the Post Office to mail two more/last boxes, one to my Mom and one to Dick Blaisdell. I found a wood ruler while unpacking and when using it, saw it was from Syracuse, NY. Had to be from the Blaisdell estate. After, really examining it, saw four letters scratched in it - looked like DICK. So, I am sending him the ruler, a homemade citronella candle from AA, plus our peanut brittle and biscotti.
I submitted my name to help with the Georgia Senate race to the Liberal Ladies of Jax Facebook group, they have been working with Camden County, GA Democrat organization by sending thousands of postcards. I was assigned 49 postcards to fill out, picked up Wednesday on way home from work. Wow, what a job! Addressing is fine but the long words of encouragement to write on each one wore me out! I mailed on Friday, glad that is done!
Thursday, a Christmas gift arrived from Bill and Joan: a lobster pie! How interesting and we can't wait to try it!
We Facetimed with Mom and she sent photos of the snow storm.
Melissa snow plowing:AA also had her golf after school today, working on chipping and putting. We ate bruschetta for dinner and played two games of Rummikub. AA is so far ahead in wins for the year, Ford and I can't catch her.
Friday, AA watched the last (8th) episode of the Mandalorian show. Now to wait for Season 3!
We baked gingerbread cookies together, the dough we made last weekend. She went back to her class, so I finished them (made 40). Now to put icing on them this weekend.
AA has the Par 3 Tournament, two-days this weekend so hope to find time to finish the cookies and drive around at night to see some Christmas lights.
