Sunday NFJG Plantation Pay, Ormond Beach - Tie for First!

AA and Ford left early (6:30 a.m.) for their drive to the golf tournament. With her 9:04 a.m. tee time, we were all up early this morning.

I'm doing laundry, shelling pistachios for a biscotti recipe. Walking Ginger, cleaned out one cupboard in the kitchen, much better now! I made two batches of biscotti - one with dried cranberries, almond flavoring with olive oil; the other batch with dried cherries, butter and cinnamon. Worked on AA's Advent calendar, signed some Christmas cards, finding supplies to make a Christmas Card banner for our fireplace, and we all added more ornaments on the tree and lastly preparing for dinner when my LOVES arrive home (a little prep work for bruschetta). Plus my bath and relaxing time!

AA played well scoring a 77 (Par = 71, so 6 over, one birdie). She had one bad hole - her first one was a double bogey. So the rest of her round was great! She played with Emma Wells (14 years old) and tied for first place which went into a playoff with Danielle Dailey (12 years old). After tying the first hole, a 100 yard closest to the pin was won by Danielle, her first win in the Elite Division. We remember that feeling with AA two years ago!

Awarded 2nd Place:

Ponte Vedra’s Grace Richards would take the Bronze Medal posting a score of seven over par 78. Morgan and Dailey would head to the first tee for sudden death. They would tie the hole and would head into a closest to the pin contest to determine this week’s champion.
