We began last week with the NFJG Tournament that AA scored both days in the mid-80's. She moves on with her weekly golf lessons and hitting the driving range most days. It is still too hot for me to golf much and with COVID-19 hanging around, still keeping to ourselves.
School has now been pushed back two weeks, so AA's 8th grade will not begin until August 25th on-line with her OPJH teachers.
We have "declared" Carolyn's home safe in that we still social distance as best we can and swim in her pool. Her work place, all employees wear masks and no public is admitted inside. Ford took Ginger to the Vet, as she has been sneezing and snorting for a week now. Nothing was found wrong with her and of course, it suddenly stopped, so I guess she is over whatever it was!
I worked my usual Tues-Friday. Stacy totaled Ronnie's truck on Wednesday by backing into it with the large CASE (loader with forks on). I held a safety stand-down meeting and we had several meetings trying to get Total Wrecking to realistically revise their final few months schedule (I should still finish by 09/30/20). I was glad when this week was over!
Thursday, I spent the night at Carolyn's, made a shrimp cocktail and roasted broccoli for dinner, along with a glass of wine! Yum! Ford and AA, at home, bought a Tropical Smoothie for their dinner.
Bella being reasonably nice!

Saturday morning, we made AA's pasta recipe (close to Sweet Sensation's pasta salad that AA likes so much), practiced our putting at the golf course, spoke to Coach Stephanie for a while, made deviled eggs, cooked spaghetti (took dinner for CR: Ford's spaghetti, meatballs, sauce and a side of AA's pasta salad) and then headed to Carolyn's for a swim without her (she's at work). And Ford swam with us!
Carolyn made us a small coffee cake - chocolate, cinnamon and chocolate chips, yummy! She is buying eggs from a lady at work and giving them to me, so we have another 18 eggs to cook with!Saturday, at 5 p.m., we were back at home to join our weekly happy hour friends, talking more about family, books, movies and politics!
That's a wrap! Tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday we are expecting Tropical Storm Isaias.
