Sunday & Monday NFJG at King and Bear , Library and More

Sunday was a quiet day, we walked Ginger, wrote some correspondence, took a drive to nowhere, Face-timed with my Mom, practiced golf (putting and chipping after the thunderstorm), had a glass of wine on Talon's patio and then cooked dinner of Hot dogs! Getting all ready for an early morning, Ford and AA need to be on the road by 5:45 a.m. to make her tee time at the WGV King and Bear NFJG Tournament. I'll do the grocery shopping, first time inside an actual store and prepare dinner for when they return (after my golf lesson at 3:00 p.m.).

We had one drink on the Talon's patio with waiter Alexandra then headed home and poured one more:
AA's letter to Penny:
Monday: NFJG Round: 1 Date: Jul 6, 2020
Course: World Golf Village - King & Bear
Time: 7:32 AM Hole: 1
Alyzabeth Morgan, Daisy Adams, Lexi Milbrandt
As her score shows, 8 bogeys, double bogey and a quad-bogey!
Round: 2 Date: Jul 7, 2020
Course: World Golf Village - King & Bear
Time: 7:40 AM Hole: 1
Alyzabeth Morgan 84; Ashlan Tresca 83; Beatrice Dietz 86
A little better round, no quad-bogeys! Ended up 5th place (if she had played two 79's, would have tied for 2nd place... oh, well)!
While they were at the golf tournament, I cleaned out a corner of the garage, emptied four large boxes and washed my entire collection of pink block optic depression glass! Also, laundry and grocery shopping, first time for me in months - wore my mask. About 85% of customers had on one too (its not mandated in our county). Monday afternoon, we went to the library (wore masks of course); AA checked out Pride and Prejudice (she had read a few years ago) and John Lennon book (2005) by his ex-wife Cynthia.
I made it to my 3:00 p.m. golf lesson by a few minutes, it poured rain right up to that time, then cleared for an hour.
Enjoyed pitching more than putting or chipping. Set-up for pitching:
Came home and AA finished her John Lennon book (her summary was that "John was weird" which is an appropriate comment from a 13 year old reading an adult book).
I finished this book that Penny loaned to AA (racial injustices, racism), very easy read, gets the point across: Unsung Hero of Birdsong, USA:
Work week begins in the morning!
