U.S. Kids Golf Worlds - Pinehurst NC

After a nice Monday visit at the River House, it was Tuesday morning when Ford and AA drove to Pinehurst, then Penny and I drove up on Wednesday. A very strange time, from a damp airbnb home, rain every day, my migraine, Penny not feeling well, and it goes on! Penny and I stopped for fast food lunch on way to Pinehurst, not sure if we both caught something there or what, but we both were not better until the following Monday! AA did not play as the top players do, must shoot in the low 70's. At this distance, top 11 year old can play par golf. AA has played much longer distances and not sure if the adjustment wasn't made, her chipping from 30 yards was not good, her putting was not her usual strength and I know she worried about me being sick in bed. Anyways, lots to work on until the next Worlds!
Round 1 (the only round I made it to - migraine!!):

Round Two scoring table. The entire Round two for those playing at the Pinehurst course was eliminated due to many girls playing that morning as they couldn't finish Round One! It rained every afternoon and morning! The course was wet! So she was paired up with the same two girls as Round One!
I don't think we have any photos from Saturday, Round Three, no photos of Ms. Penny and we did not go to the awards ceremony, first time not attending. It began at 8:30 p.m. and Penny and I were not up for late night and still feeling sick.
Sunday, we packed up and drove to Jim Read's home (Cliff was babysitting so not at home). We all felt better by Sunday evening and by Monday morning I was cured!!
