Last Week of September and More

The end of September is here!! This post is a bit mixed up, catching up with the bloggy news!
September 24th, a quiet week so far, Robotics Eaglebots continue on Monday's and Thursday's. AA has been golfing but not as much as we normally do in the Spring/Summer. Eagle Harbor PGA Junior Elite Team practices are Friday's and Sunday's.
Wednesday, we have been faithful going to church and AA goes to the 456 Club. Her lesson this past week was being kind to others and to write down what you could say to someone who is mean to you. She was in tears explaining what she discussed in her class, which girls are mean to her. It is hard to have your child hurting, knowing that hopefully, most girls do grow up kinder, a phase some go through putting down other girls they perceive as younger and weaker. For now we stay away from them as best we can.

This past Thursday, AA and I went to Carolyn's home to visit with Daisy, check her fish and take a swim (we also tried to clean up her front walkway, didn't get too far after 30 minutes - too hot!!). The pool was 81 degrees, with 87 outside temperature, very refreshing!
{I checked in on Daisy on Tuesday}
Our fun swim and then dinner at Carolyn's, sans Carolyn!
September 29th, Friday, I volunteered at the school picture day and earned 3.5 hours. It was fun seeing every student have to stand in line and then smile for the camera, 600+ students and staff in less than four hours!
Back tracking to the prior week: September 21st: Ford taking a ride this morning, rare sight, he's feeling grateful, healthy from his open heart surgery last year. This is his happiness, his time of reflection, time for a new view. Enjoy my love!! #harleydavidson
At the River House, the weather is a bit cooler (only mid-80's!!). Gorgeous day. Exciting to see the rebuilding of the lower deck at River House. Thank you Jack Wagner (and credit to Crash and Stu) for installing the flag pole today!
September 27th, we received more dog food donations: With the addition of donated dog food from Nancy Stankaitis Whiteley, Jack Wagner and Mary Jo Wagner, and Jean Caton Stephenson, AA has added 56 lbs more to the 188 lbs posted on 09/17/17.
Any more donations For Clay County Animal Shelter? Looks like we won't deliver the 244 lbs of dog food until next week now. AND A BIG thank you to the Anderson's (Ruby and Scott) for bringing us two more bags!!
September 26th was National Pancake Day! We made waffles and had cousin Mike's delicious homemade in Maine maple syrup!
Friday, Carolyn was with her sister Kathy and family for Adam's graduation from Flight school (helicopter, I think).
Next up, this weekend, September 30th/October 1st, we are going to the WEB.com tour being played at the Atlantic Beach Country Club!
